why did I choose Bluffview Insurance group?
I began my career in the Insurance Industry in 2003 working with my father, John M. Woodall, in his agency. Woodall Agency Insurance was housed in the Unum building (formerly Provident Life and Accident). I was surrounded by insurance professionals who taught me so much about this industry. Of course, Dad was my most influential mentor. In 2010, I took over the agency when Dad retired. A few months later, I ran into Bob Berz, a good friend and colleague of my fathers at an AALU meeting in Washington, DC. Bob shared with me that he was working with NFP and that I really needed to check it out. I headed to Austin, Texas shortly thereafter and continue to be blown away by all of the resources which are available to me as a member of this organization.
I have been fortunate to travel to Austin several times since then. Each visit yields something new. I have joined a National Study Group through NFP which is comprised of 13 producers from all across the country. We gather semi-annually to discuss trends in the industry and advanced planning techniques. Back in Austin, I have a huge back office of professionals including tax attorneys, underwriters, advanced sales case designers, product specialists, and more. What does this mean to you? My association with NFP allows me to continue to run my practice in a very customized, client focused way, but I have access to resources which enable me to deliver the very best in product, design, and competitive pricing to my clients.
Last fall, Robert Berz, DeForest Spencer, and I decided that we needed to be collaborating more and focused on taking advantage of all the benefits of this group for the benefit of our collective clients. One of the core values of NFP is collaboration. The best insurance professionals in our industry gather for semi-annual meetings to share knowledge, support and fellowship at NFP. Bluffview Insurance Group was formed to bring this model to Chattanooga. This association enables us to bring you more resources, integrated planning solutions, and expert speakers on topics you care about. The other advisors and I have various planning expertise, and working together enables us to better integrate key pieces of your holistic financial plan to make it more beneficial for you.
